Private Intimacy Coaching for Couples, Women & Men

Love is one of our deepest human needs. Yet even within committed relationships, we can find ourselves feeling emotionally distant, misunderstood, rejected, abandoned, or unable to express what is truly happening inside our hearts.

Sometimes two people love each other deeply but have forgotten how to reach one another. Other times, betrayal, grief, unresolved childhood wounds, emotional withholding, or years of disconnection have created walls that feel impossible to overcome.

At Asttarte Deva Healing Wellness Center, Asttarte offers a compassionate, trauma-informed approach to intimacy and relationship healing that goes beyond communication techniques alone.

Through transformational coaching, attachment healing, somatic awareness, breathwork, emotional exploration, and nervous system regulation, individuals and couples are supported in understanding the deeper patterns that interfere with love, trust, vulnerability, and authentic connection.

The intention is not simply to improve a relationship. It is to help people feel safe enough within themselves to open their hearts, speak their truth, receive love, and create the intimacy they genuinely desire.

1. Intimacy Coaching for Couples

From Emotional Distance to Deeper Love, Trust & Connection

Are you and your partner living together but feeling emotionally miles apart?

Perhaps you once shared affection, laughter, meaningful conversations, and a deep sense of closeness. Over time, however, something changed.

Conversations became shorter. Affection diminished. One partner began withdrawing while the other struggled to understand why. Unresolved disagreements, resentment, insecurity, or emotional pain gradually created distance.

Sometimes the relationship has become more like a partnership of responsibilities than a loving connection.

Other couples may be physically separated, considering reconciliation, or uncertain whether their relationship can be restored.

Intimacy coaching offers a supportive space to discover what is happening beneath that distance.

Understanding What Keeps You Apart

Rather than focusing only on surface disagreements, Asttarte helps couples explore the emotional experiences and protective patterns contributing to their disconnection. These may include:

  • Emotional withdrawal, withholding affection, or avoiding difficult conversations
  • Anxious, avoidant, or disorganized attachment patterns
  • Unresolved childhood wounds and unmet emotional needs
  • Fear of rejection, abandonment, criticism, or vulnerability
  • Betrayal, broken agreements, secrecy, or loss of trust
  • Recurring arguments, defensiveness, blame, or misunderstandings
  • Unexpressed grief, resentment, disappointment, and loneliness
  • Differences in emotional needs, intimacy, affection, and communication
  • Feeling unseen, unappreciated, or unable to be oneself within the relationship
  • Difficulty rebuilding closeness after prolonged separation

Learning to Feel Safe With Each Other Again

Many couples become trapped in a painful cycle: one partner reaches for connection while the other retreats. The more one pursues, the more the other withdraws. Both may be protecting themselves from emotional pain, yet neither feels understood.

Asttarte works with couples to recognize these patterns, explore their origins, and begin creating new ways of relating. Through guided conversations, emotional awareness, attachment exploration, and body-centered practices, couples can learn to:

  • Recognize their individual fears and emotional triggers
  • Understand the protective walls they have built around their hearts
  • Express difficult feelings without attacking or blaming
  • Listen with greater empathy and emotional presence
  • Work through childhood attachment wounds and insecurities
  • Practice honesty, accountability, and compassionate communication
  • Rebuild emotional trust through consistent actions
  • Explore affection, tenderness, vulnerability, and intimacy at a comfortable pace
  • Create agreements that support mutual respect and emotional safety

The goal is not to force closeness or keep two people together at any cost. It is to help both partners understand themselves and each other more deeply, so they can make authentic choices about their relationship.

When two people are willing to look beneath their defenses, new possibilities for connection can emerge.

2. Intimacy & Attachment Healing for Women

Healing Heartache, Betrayal, Abandonment & the Fear of Loving Again

When a woman experiences betrayal, emotional abandonment, infidelity, dishonesty, or repeated rejection from someone she loves, the pain can reach far beyond the relationship itself.

She may begin questioning her worth, her attractiveness, her intuition, or her ability to trust another person. She may feel anxious when her partner withdraws, struggle with intrusive thoughts, or become hyperaware of changes in his behavior. Even when she wants to forgive, reconnect, or move forward, her body may continue responding with fear, tension, sadness, anger, or emotional shutdown.

Relationship pain is not always experienced only in the mind. It can also affect the nervous system, the body, and our capacity to feel safe in connection.

Support for Women Experiencing

  • Infidelity, betrayal, secrecy, or broken relationship agreements
  • The impact of a partner’s compulsive sexual behavior or pornography use
  • Emotional abandonment, rejection, or prolonged withholding
  • Attachment anxiety, fear of abandonment, and relationship insecurity
  • Grief following separation, divorce, or the loss of a meaningful relationship
  • Difficulty trusting after repeated dishonesty
  • Emotional exhaustion from trying to repair a relationship alone
  • Loss of self-confidence, self-worth, or personal identity
  • Difficulty receiving affection, love, or tenderness
  • Nervous system dysregulation, hypervigilance, and emotional overwhelm
  • Unresolved childhood experiences influencing adult relationships

Reclaiming Your Heart, Your Voice & Your Sense of Self

Asttarte supports women in reconnecting with the parts of themselves that may have become hidden beneath years of pain, disappointment, or self-protection. This work may involve understanding attachment patterns, processing grief, recognizing emotional triggers, exploring inner child experiences, and developing healthier boundaries.

Somatic awareness and gentle breathwork can support greater connection with the body and help women develop tools for emotional regulation. Women are encouraged to explore questions such as:

  • What do I need to feel emotionally safe?
  • Where have I abandoned my own needs to preserve a relationship?
  • What patterns am I ready to change?
  • How can I remain open to love without sacrificing my dignity, truth, or boundaries?

Whether you are choosing to remain in your relationship, considering separation, or healing after its ending, this work is centered on restoring your relationship with yourself.

You do not have to close your heart to protect yourself. You can learn to honor your boundaries while rediscovering your capacity for love.

3. Intimacy & Emotional Healing for Men

Moving Beyond Disconnection, Compulsive Patterns & Emotional Isolation

Many men grow up without being taught how to recognize, express, or safely share their deepest emotions. They may learn to suppress grief, hide insecurity, avoid vulnerability, or seek validation through achievement, sexual experiences, or external approval.

Over time, these patterns can contribute to emotional loneliness, relationship conflict, compulsive sexual behaviors, or an inability to experience the loving connection they genuinely desire.

Some men long for intimacy but become frightened when a relationship requires emotional openness. Others may struggle with secrecy, infidelity, compulsive sexual behavior, or repeated relationship breakdowns. Behind these behaviors, there may be unresolved grief, shame, fear, attachment wounds, or deeply rooted feelings of inadequacy.

Areas of Support

  • Emotional avoidance and difficulty expressing vulnerability
  • Compulsive sexual behavior and its impact on relationships
  • Infidelity, dishonesty, and patterns that undermine trust
  • Loneliness, grief, shame, and emotional isolation
  • Difficulty recognizing or communicating emotional needs
  • Fear of commitment, rejection, or abandonment
  • Unresolved childhood experiences and attachment wounds
  • Difficulty receiving affection or sustaining emotional intimacy
  • Confusion about love, sexuality, self-worth, and authentic connection
  • Rebuilding personal integrity, accountability, and self-respect

Rediscovering the Capacity to Love

Asttarte’s approach invites men to look beneath habitual behaviors and explore the emotional experiences that may be driving them. Through coaching, guided reflection, attachment exploration, breath awareness, and somatic practices, men can begin developing a more compassionate and responsible relationship with themselves.

This includes learning to recognize emotional triggers, tolerate vulnerability, communicate honestly, respect boundaries, and take responsibility for the impact of their choices.

For men healing from compulsive sexual behaviors, intimacy coaching can complement specialized addiction treatment or recovery programs by focusing on emotional awareness, attachment patterns, relationship repair, and the development of authentic connection.

True intimacy grows through honesty, emotional presence, accountability, and the willingness to be known.

Men’s private coaching is available by referral and following an initial consultation.

4. Healing the Roots of Relationship Disconnection

Attachment Healing, Inner Child Work & Nervous System Regulation

Our adult relationships often reveal emotional patterns that began long before we met our partners. A person who experienced inconsistent affection may become deeply anxious when a partner pulls away. Someone who learned that vulnerability was unsafe may withdraw when emotional closeness increases. Another may struggle to express anger, grief, or disappointment because those feelings were discouraged during childhood.

These patterns are not necessarily conscious decisions. They may reflect learned emotional responses and protective strategies that once helped us navigate difficult experiences. Asttarte integrates several complementary approaches:

  • Attachment Awareness & Healing — how early relationships influence adult intimacy, emotional needs, and responses to closeness or separation.
  • Inner Child Exploration — younger emotional experiences, unmet needs, insecurities, and beliefs that may continue influencing present relationships.
  • Somatic Stress Release — body awareness, stress responses, and techniques that support nervous system regulation and grounding.
  • Breathwork & Emotional Presence — conscious breathing for self-awareness, regulation, relaxation, and connection with feelings that may be difficult to express.
  • Communication & Relationship Repair — moving beyond blame, silence, defensiveness, and withholding toward honest, respectful conversation.
  • Grief & Heart Healing — space for sadness, disappointment, loss, and unresolved emotion with greater self-compassion and resilience.

5. The Heart Alive — A Breathwork Practice Developed by Asttarte

The Heart Alive is a heart-centered breathwork practice developed by Asttarte to support emotional awareness, self-connection, and greater openness within the body.

The practice invites conscious attention to the breath, the heart space, and emotions that may be present beneath protective patterns. Through guided breathing, gentle awareness, and compassionate reflection, participants explore their relationship with tenderness, grief, love, vulnerability, and self-acceptance.

The Heart Alive may be incorporated into individual or couples sessions when appropriate, adapted to each person’s needs, comfort, and emotional capacity. The intention is not to force emotional release, but to create opportunity for presence, inner connection, and authentic expression.

6. Teachings From Asttarte’s Books

Asttarte’s approach is informed by years of personal exploration, healing arts education, relationship experiences, and writing—including:

  • The Heart On — the heart’s capacity to open after emotional and embodied trauma; healing, vulnerability, receiving love, and learning to trust intimate connection.
  • The Heart Alive — Asttarte’s original heart-centered breathwork practice for emotional awareness, inner connection, and openness to love.
  • Great Sex After Marriage: Empowering the Married Goddess in the Bedroom — an upcoming book on reclaiming voice, confidence, emotional connection, and fulfilling intimacy within committed relationships.

Together, these teachings inform a multidimensional approach that honors emotional, physical, relational, and spiritual aspects of human connection.
